When Do Botox Results Show? Day-by-Day Evolution | EWAH Aesthetic Medicine

After your first Botox application it's natural to wonder: when will I start noticing the change? Unlike what many people expect, results are not immediate — and that is precisely what gives them their natural appearance.
Days 1–3: The Effect Begins
During the first 48 to 72 hours after application, botulinum toxin begins binding to the nerve endings of the treated muscles. During this period it's normal not to notice visible changes. Some patients may feel a slight tension or heaviness in the treated area — completely normal and temporary.
Days 3–7: First Visible Changes
Between the third and seventh day the first results begin to appear: muscle movement is reduced, expression lines soften, and the skin starts to look more rested. The intensity of the effect continues increasing throughout this week.
Days 7–14: Full Result
The maximum effect of Botox is reached between 10 and 14 days after application. This is when the result is definitive and you can clearly evaluate the level of improvement. At EWAH we do a personalized 15-day follow-up to verify the result is exactly what you expected.
What If Something Doesn't Look Right at Two Weeks?
If at 14 days there is any area that didn't turn out as expected — which can occur due to natural facial asymmetries or variations in muscle response — we perform touch-up adjustments at no additional cost within the review period. At EWAH the result is our responsibility. Schedule your review appointment at ewah-derm.com.
